What does this development mean for the group?AZM Monjurul Quader: The Mirsarai industrial park is a major milestone for SQ Group. Commercial operations officially began on 1 January this year, and the facility is now fully operational.It brings advanced manufacturing, scale and efficiency into one industrial ecosystem. Initial production includes high-voltage cables of up to 33 kilovolts, low-voltage power cables and ocean submarine cables. We plan to progressively relocate and expand our other electrical product lines there.Q: Why did you choose cable manufacturing as the starting point for operations at the Mirsarai facility?AZM Monjurul Quader: Power cables are fundamental to national infrastructure, whether for power generation, transmission, industrial development, or urban expansion.As Bangladesh's demand for higher-capacity, safer and longer-lasting cables grows, we are starting with high- and low-voltage products.
